Bantwal, Jan 20: The police have arrested the fourth accused in the murder of Harish Poojary that took place on November 12 at Manihalla here.
Raviraj, who had succeeded in evading arrest till now, stands arrested by the rural station personnel here from his hideout at Ahmedabad.
Out of the four accused in this murder case, three had been arrested. There was an outcry from the public about the inability of the department to arrest the fourth accused, and the police had been making efforts to find out his whereabouts.
Finally, the dogged pursuit by police yielded result when he was found to have taken shelter in the house of his uncle, Ramesh, at Vastrapura in Ahmedabad district in Gujarat. He was taken into custody produced in court.

A team comprising rural station hosue officer, Rakshit, and assistant sub-inspector, Ramesh, acting under the guidance of district superintendent of police, S D Sharanappa, and assistant superintendent of police, Rahul Kumar, and leadership of circle inspector, Belliappa, executed this arrest.
