Live Cricket Streaming : India Vs Australia 2016 - 5th ODI

Sydney, Jan 23, 2016 (PTI) : Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl in the fifth and final cricket ODI against Australia here today.

Manish Pandey and Jasprit Bumrah have come in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ajinkya Rahane in India's playing XI, while Shaun Marsh and Scott Boland replaced the rested Glenn Maxwell and Kane Richardson in the Australian team at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Australia lead the five-match series 4-0.

Teams:
Australia: Aaron Finch, David Warner, Steve Smith (capt), Bailey, Shaun Marsh, Mitchell Marsh, Mathew Wade, James Faulkner, John Hastings, Scott Boland, Nathan Lyon

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Gurkeerat Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishi Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma.

Well, not 'lift gloom' as in take the rains away, but certainly the gloom that surrounds Team India following four back-to-back losses against hosts Australia in the ongoing One-Day International series. With thunderstorms predicted for Saturday (January 23), the game in Sydney could be marred by rain, but it would also rob India of their chance to claim some small solaces in what has been a tough tour so far. India 'playing for pride' and Australia 'aiming to be ruthless', may just be just cliches, but they certainly ring true.

India's last 5-0 drubbing came at the hands of a legendary West Indies team in 1988-89, and although this series has not been as one-sided as the one against the mighty Caribbean unit, India will be desperate to avoid that scoreline. Australia, on the other hand, will want to keep their winning momentum going and pound the visitors into the ground ahead of the Twenty20 Internationals.
