Bangalore, Sep 8: Though the Parishers of St. Vincent Pallotti church, Bangalore popularly known as the Seven Trumpet church have been celebrating the Nativity with Konkani Holy Mass, this is the first time they held it on September 8th. So far the celebration was a day or two earlier.
Melodious Konkani choir lead by Elwell D'Souza had traditional Konkani hymns, the congregation actively participated in the celebration.
Fr. Charles Fernandes, Director of Pallotti Nilaya celebrated the Holy Mass with Fr. Paul, Principal of Pallotti School as concelebrant. Around 75 children participated in offering flowers to Mother Mary at 7.30 am, followed Holy Mass. A sumptuous breakfast was served to all. Sugar canes were distributed to the children.
