Mangaluru, Jan 27: On the eve of Martyr’s Day commemorating the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, human rights activist Teesta Setalvad will address an interactive session with college students at SDM College of Business Management in the city.
The session on the topic 'Human Rights and Youth' is being organized jointly by Centre for Integrated Learning and Campus Career Academy in association with the college on January 29.
The session will focus on the diverse aspects of understanding human rights issues and its violations and is intended to kindle a sense of responsibility among youth to protect the rights of themselves and others who are victims of such violations, informed S Nandagopal, convener of Centre for Integrated Learning, a city based NGO working to evolve strategies and interventions that add value to present education system.

Teesta will be in the city to attend a national convention for communal harmony being organized at the Town Hall the following day (January 30).
