Mumbai, Sep 12:
Monti Fest was celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, IC Colony, Borivli here with great devotion. It was organized by Canara Konkani Association under the leadership of George D'Souza.

The new corns were blessed near the main entrance. Then the procession lead by the band moved to the church showering flowers to statue of Mother Mary by little children.

Fr Nelson Saldanha and Fr Lancy Pinto offered the solemn mass. The cultural programmes and the Novem Jevon were arranged after the mass. The comedy skit "Dr Chunnabhai MBBS" was the main attraction of the programme.

The office bearers George D'Souza, George Nazareth, Charles D'Cunha, Robert Tellis, Robert Tauro, Veronica Pais, Wilfred Mendonca, Franky D'Souza and others took initiative to organize the programme in a meaningful manner.

    Article is covered the entire programme in a nutshell. Pictures are very nice. Pictures of the skit also should have been posted.
