Mangalorean Youth Leader Darryl Walter Lobo (22) Dies in Accident at B'lore

Bangalore Sep 13: Dynamic youth Darryl Walter Lobo (22) of Hospet parish, son of Robert Maxim Lobo and Theresa Lobo (Koppala, Near Hospet Church), passed away on Thursday September 13, in a road accident at Bangalore.
Darryl, employed with Magic Waters here, succumbed to injuries in a private hospital here on Thursday September 13. He was in coma for the last 4 days after meeting with an accident at Kasthurinagara near K R Pura, Outer Ring road here.
Preetham Alva, basically from Puttur who was riding the bike, is also critically injured and is admitted to Manipal Hospital. Since Preetham wore a helmet, he managed to escape from the jaws of death. But Darryl who was riding pillion was not so lucky and sustained serious injuries. He succumbed to injuries after failing to respond to medication on Thursday.
Darryl was a dynamic member of ICYM, Hospet and served as secretary of the unit last year. After completing his graduation in Alva's College at Moodbidri this year, he had come to Bangalore to build his career. It was only one and half a month ago that he had come to the city and had joined Magic Waters. He was an active youth, bubbling with energy. He had even represented his college at the national-level in cultural programmes.
Darryl is survived by father Robert Maxim, mother Theresa, sister Babitha Lavina, Vinitha Prema and brother Jeevan Prashanth.
His funeral will be held on Monday September 17.
