Sunny Monday morning in Himachal

Shimla, Feb 8 (IANS): It was a bright sunny Monday in Himachal Pradesh, with Shimla and its nearby hill destinations turning more picturesque after snowfall on Sunday.

The minimum temperature was 1.3 degrees in Shimla, which saw 18 cm of snow, the weather office told IANS.

Shimla's nearby destinations like Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda also experienced snowfall on Sunday.

Snow could be seen in several areas of Shimla like the Mall Road, the Ridge, the US Club and Jakhu hills and would stay for three-four days, the weather office said.
