18 soldiers injured in Afghan bombing


Kabul, Feb 8 (IANS): At least 18 army personnel were injured in a bombing targetted at their bus in Afghanistan's Balkh province on Monday, police said.

The blast caused a plume of grey smoke to rise. The injured were shifted to an army hospital in Shaheen Corps, Xinhua news agency reported.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
