Mangalore, Sep 15: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu, here, invites applications for selection test for admission to class VI, the press note issued on Friday September 14, by principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, stated.
Detailing the admission procedures, the press note briefed that the prospectus cum applications will be issued in September, while the selection tests will be conducted in February 2008 and the results of which will be declared in July 2008.
Regarding the rules and regulations, the press note explained that the applicants must be studying in class five. If any one wants to seek admission under rural quota, then they must study and pass classes three, four and fifth from a government/aided/ recognized schools situated in rural area.
Regarding the seat allotment, the note informed that at least 75% of the seats are filled by candidates selected from rural areas and remaining seats are filled from urban areas.
It is also briefed in the press note that the selection test will be of two hours duration comprising of three sections and the paper will be objective type.
