Modi greets Arunachal Pradesh on statehood day


New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh on their statehood day.

"On Arunachal Pradesh's Statehood Day, my greetings to people of the state. I pray for the state's overall development in the coming years," Modi said in a tweet.

The state on Friday got a combined Congress-Bharatiya Janata Party government after 24 days of the president's rule.
