SFC Mangalore Champions at National Conference Held in Goa

Mangalore, Sep 18: The Singles for Christ (SFC) team from here, headed by couple coordinators Melwyn and Neeta Fernandes, has bagged overall championship in the SFC national conference held at Candolim in Goa recently.

The championship was awarded for the excellent performance of Mangalorean team, in the various competitions, namely, booth competition, beat show, rejuvenation etc held during the conference.

The conference aimed at bringing together SFC members from all over India together under one roof was inaugurated by Couples for Christ (CFC) leader, Orlando Mascarenhas on Saturday September 15 and concluded on Sunday September 16 evening. SFC delegates from various parts of India such as Mumbai, Pune, Chennai,  Panjim, Margao also participagted in this conference.

A group of 24 delegates from Mangalore attended this conference. At the same time, Jasmine Vas and Grishin D’Souza from Mangalore were awarded the title ‘League of Extraordinaire Singles’ (LXS) for the year 2007. Gerald and Jane Castelino, couple representatives of Mangalore accompanied the delegation and participated in the conference.
