Dhanush's 'Amma Kannaku' wrapped up in 50 days


Chennai, Feb 24 (IANS): Actor Dhanush's latest home production "Amma Kannaku", the Tamil remake of Hindi film "Nil Battey Sannata" starring veteran actress-filmmaker Revathy, has been wrapped up in just 50 days.

"The film went on the floors on January 6 earlier this year. With meticulous planning, the principal shooting has been completed in a short span of 50 days," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, who had also helmed the original, the remake is jointly produced by Anand L. Rai.

The film also features Amala Paul and Samuthirakani.
