BSF trooper dies in accidental firing


Srinagar, Feb 25 (IANS): A border security force (BSF) trooper was killed in an incident of accidental firing in Srinagar district, an official said here on Thursday.

"Constable Muhammad Yusuf of 92 battalion of BSF died late Wednesday in a case of accidental firing from a colleague's service rifle in Pantha Chowk camp," a senior police officer told IANS.

The deceased constable belongs to a village in the south Kashmir Anantnag district.
