Bengal youth detained for suspected IS links


Kolkata, Feb 27 (IANS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has detained a youth from West Bengal's Burdwan district suspected of having links with the Islamic State (IS) terror group, an official said on Saturday.

"The youth is a student of a private engineering college. We have detained him for interrogation. We suspect he may have links with the IS," the official added.
