Mangaluru, Mar 3: Director of the international airport here, J T Radhakrishna, has urged the airport users not to lend credence to misinformation campaign going on about security, immigration and traffic management at the airport here, noting that unscrupulous elements have been engaged in the task of spreading baseless rumours about the airport.
"There are no concerns either in security or passenger verification. Everything is moving smoothly, and this airport has been ranked fifth in the consumer satisfaction index among 55 tier-2 airports in the country. Still, unfortunately the task of confusing the customers through systematic malicious campaign is on," he noted.
He said that any of the passengers who encounter any problem at the airport here can immediately contact terminal duty manager of the airport, who is available round the clock, for redressal. In addition, boards have been provided in the terminal building of the airport where complaints from the public are accepted. Telephone numbers and email IDs for contact in case of grievances have also been provided there. Passengers can make use of these facilities in case of problems, he explained.
Radhakrishna also added that in case of need, passengers can use rest rooms at the airport, and that they are free to contact following telephone numbers for regitration of complaints or get guidances in case of exigencies.
