Police want JNU to track Kanhaiya's movements

Aim is to provide security to student leader

New Delhi, Mar 6 (DHNS): The Delhi Police on Saturday asked Jawaharlal Nehru University to keep a track of JNU Students’ Union president Kanhaiya Kumar’s movements outside the campus so that they can ensure his security.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Prem Nath wrote a letter to JNU vice chancellor Jagadesh Kumar on a day when posters appeared in the city offering Rs 11 lakh to anybody who shoots dead the student leader who was recently released on bail in a controversial sedition case. The police have filed a case over the posters apparently put up by Adarsh Sharma, president of little-known Purvanchal Sena. The posters offering the reward were seen outside Metro stations and bus stands in central Delhi.

In the letter, Nath wrote that the SHO of Vasant Kunj (North) police station should be informed well in time about “the movements and visits of Kumar outside the campus”. Kumar was last month arrested and released on bail on Thursday in connection with “anti-national” slogans raised on the campus on February 9.

Travel mode under lens

The police will also want information on the nature of visit and the travel mode. “It is for necessary security and preventive measures to prevent any untoward incident,” Nath said. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) had on Friday indicated that Kanhaiya Kumar may campaign for the Left in the coming state elections.

The Delhi High Court has told the police to make sure that Kumar and other JNU students do not suffer “even a scratch”. During a hearing last month, Kumar had sustained minor injuries after being attacked by lawyers. On Saturday, Purvanchal Sena president Adarsh Sharma told Deccan Herald that they have put up at least 1,500 posters in the city. The police said they have seen over 100 posters in central Delhi. Sharma also claims to live 10 kilometres away from Kumar’s house in Bihar’s Begusarai district.

“Whoever shoots JNUSU president and traitor Kanhaiya Kumar will be rewarded Rs 11 lakh by the Purvanchal Sena,” the poster read. Sharma added that he wants quick justice instead of seeing Kumar drag the case in courts for years. “Kanhaiya Kumar insulted our country by raising anti-national slogans. I have full faith on the courts, but it takes a long time for judgment.

The Sena wants to see him dead as a traitor, not a hero as portrayed by the media,” Sharma added. Taking note of this, a case under Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act was registered with Parliament Street police station on Saturday. “Action will be taken against persons who have put up such posters,” said a police officer.

According to the Daijiworld reports, the DM says Kanhaiya has not made any anti national slogan. The Police say the CD does not indicate any antinational slogan by Kanhaiya. The Judge gives "Dos and Donts" to Kanhaiya which has become a subject of criticism by the media. And now witch hunt of Kanhaiya. Are we a democracy ruled by the people, for the people or of the people? Or are we ruled by a dictator/ despot bent on using Kanhaiya for his political survival and as a tool for the ensuing 4 State elections?

Can't answer the question therefore giving meaningless explanations to divert. Typically done by those who are cornered.
BTW the Delhi police don't seem to be interested in pursuing the actual persons who raised those anti India slogans because in our opinion their investigation might lead to some group in Nagpur who are very likely to have conspired to malign JNU. Who doctored those videos ? Why are the police not interested in finding that out ? Could it be the same Nagpur group ? So who are the real anti-nationals now ?

Come on.. I say dont harm him or any such people. someone with little brain can understand how immature SCHOLAR he is... leave him. It does not take years to prove a joker of what worth he is of.. he will be just an addition to the list of comedians we have here. Quite a lot of desperate, frustrated souls sitting under AC are feeling intolerance in this country. Because they just cannot digest the fact that they are today ruled by a chaiwala, after-all a chaiwala?.. poor souls. They are spending all their energy in search of someone who can stand eye to eye against the popular PM. even if he is a baccacha...ha ha

so, lets just relax and watch the fun.. but the one who arranged afzal day and said bharat ki tukde tukde- that gang must never go unpunished. may that be clear to those souls

The Kanhaiya factor in the forthcoming assy elections to five states will be big zero.Because that work has already been by Dear Modiji in his 23 months ruling.....
He has proved beyond doubt that govt is for rich and poor have only pay service tax, swatch Bharath cess, and now TDS on hard earned life savings of the employee called Provident fund. Price of Toor daal moong daal etc., have made their permanent stay in the market making the consumers mainly middle class to 'adjust'.....Only thing to live a comfortable life under Modi rule for common man is "adjustment" and idea!!!
Many minsters in Modi govt and he himself acts first and thinks later !!!!This is the order of the day.....

    What is happening in Hindustan..?

One thing is sure, BJP is already started feeling the heat after seeing Kanaiya's incredible speech ...? So far the bhakt's were thinking that only Namo is the only best eye catching public speaker, but now Kanaiya proved them wrong by a mile...,

Instead of direct snooping on "Kaniaya", this poster is used for the purpose.

After Kaniaya's speech, the voters pulse is totally swinging in favor of CPI(M) in West Bengal. With Congress party's alliance, I think West Bengal is set to loose from the clutches of Mamatha Deedhi and BJP will be shattered to dust (despite raking up Netaji's legacy to emotionally hijack voters mood).

It is going to be no different in Assam...?

This time voters response in 5 states not only make BJP's nose hit the dust but probably dust will reach the lungs causing perennial asthma & finally pneumonia (no asana's will work... lol).

    Jai ho.., Jai Hind..
