Centre's efforts towards developing women 'unwavering': PM

New Delhi, Mar 8 (IANS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said his government's efforts towards the development of women "are unwavering".

"Saluting the accomplishments of all women on International Women's Day and gratitude for their indispensable role in our society. From 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' to better health and education facilities, our government's efforts towards women-led development are unwavering," Modi said in a series of tweets.

"Our financial inclusion efforts, skill development initiatives and MUDRA Bank will empower our 'Nari Shakti' to contribute to India's growth," the prime minister added.

March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day, a global event aimed at inspiring women and celebrating their achievements.

Most of the Working women, carry double burden, one at their work place and second at home specially taking care of children and food.
They were getting small relief in Income Tax, which our great former FM Chidambaram withdrew saying that has to be parity among assessees.
NDA led by BJP harshly criticized him for withdrawing the benefits given to women!
But, when their turn came, they didn't RESTORE the relief given to Women.
Moreover in budget 2016, WITHDREW the provisions of advance tax benefit given to SENIOR citizens as well.

    The Guru,

    Good question.

My father is not a blind follower of Feku who left his wife for his selfish motives.

Does your family follow feku style of empowerment of women?

That is not the topic of discussion whether I am frustrated with PM or not.. We need to speak in a language wherein people like you from common background can understand the issue better.

If me or you calling PM as Feku, it will not change the good works he has done..

    Dear Hussain,
For sake of servicing country he left his wife in his early age,
Please note he is quite opposite to your party leaders ideologies who are not hesitate to remarriage in their grand pa age.

Is there any need to leave his wife to serve the country? One cannot faithful to his wife how can he serve the country.

There are many married Presidents / Prime Ministers with their families are serving their countries in the world and they serve 100 times better.
