New Delhi, Mar 11 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of PSLV-C32 carrying the navigation satellite IRNSS-1F.
“I extend my hearty congratulations to you and your entire team at the Indian Space Research Organisation on the successful launch of PSLV-C32 carrying IRNSS-1F, India’s sixth navigation satellite of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS)," Mukherjee said in a message to ISRO chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar.
"Today’s achievement demonstrates, once more, India’s increasing space capabilities," he said.
Mukherjee wished ISRO officials great success in all of their "future endeavours".
The IRNSS-1F was put into orbit on Thursday.
