Indonesian man dies at chicken eating competition

Jakarta, Mar 12 (IANS): A 45-year-old Indonesian man choked to death during a chicken eating competition in capital Jakarta, the media reported on Saturday.

The competition, organised by fast-food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on Friday, had three participants who raced to eat the fried chicken wings in the least amount of time, EFE news reported.

The victim choked, drank water and, despite medical aid, died, according to police sources.
