Mangalore, Sep 26: B Nagaraj Shetty, district in-charge minister is facing life threat for the third time. The intelligence department has informed him that he is facing threat to life, said Nagaraj Shetty in a press meet held here on Tuesday, September 25 evening.

The miscreants tried to attack him twice in the past week.  Moreover he has been provided with ‘Z’ grade security by the district police, on the basis of intelligence, Nagaraj Shetty said.

The miscreants belonging to some organizations have planned to finish him off. The police department has provided vital information of this conspiracy. Hence, he has requisitioned the police department to provide additional security. However he would not bother on these threats, he informed.

At the same time, RSS leader Dr Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka is also facing life threat. The district police have provided additional security to him also, he said.

The Congress party in Dakshina Kannada is in its lowest ebb.  Hence, they are busy creating rumours at the time of  the forth-coming municipal polls. The people of the district should not take these rumours seriously, he urged.
