Mangalore, Sep 26:
So far no single incident of tempting the electorates with liquor and money has been reported in the district during past election campaigns, said Janardan Poojari speaking at press conference here on September 26.

But this time it took place especially in case of BJP campaign. Hence CBI should probe into the violation of election code of conduct, alleged Poojari.

Declaring the rule of the state government a complete 'failure’, Poojari said to media persons that the state government has not succeeded in any sector. This is clearly visible in utilizing the fund released by the central government, he added.

He further alleged that there is no absolute unanimity between statements by leaders of BJP and JD(S). The state government does not know how to run the government and control the administration and guide the bureaucracy, he added added.

Drawing the special attention of the media at the fatwa issued by a Sangh Parivar leader, of beheading Karunanidi, Poojari said that both the fatwa and violence by the DMK activists, are condemnable.

He advised Sangh Parivar not to instigate the people and youth of the DK district to communal violence.

Expressing his confidence over winning the election, he declared that electorates are fed up of the state government. There has been anti-incumbency factor against the state government and it has being realized during the campaign. This time the electorates will vote in favour of Congress, he informed.

Kallige Taranath Shetty and Harikrishna Bantwal were present at the press conference.
