Bangalore, Sep 26: Sandalwood actor of 'Mungaru Male' fame Pooja, also known as Sanjana, Gandhi on Wednesday launched a new film magazine 'South Movie Scenes', which aims to focus on the south Indian film industry of four sectors - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, in the Press Clus in the Press Club here.
'South Movie Scenes' will be made available across the cities of south India and metros across India.
"Finally, the world is waking up to the fact that Indian films are not just about Hindi films but also about the larger industry of south Indian Films. with the success of the movie 'Sivaji' featuring Rajnikant all across the world we are sure that we are on the right track," said Pratibha, editor and publisher of 'South Movie Scenes'.
"Our audience comprises of the affluent and upwardly mobile professionals in south India, a majorty of whom use English as their working language. Another growing trend is that the next generation is ardent fans of south Indian cinema but most of them can only comprehend and converse in their mother tongue.
