Srinagar, Mar 18 (IANS): Two separatist militants werwith security forces and guerrillas in north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
A senior police officer here told IANS, "Security forces surrounded a house in Beigh Mohalla area today (Friday) morning."
"When theforces closed on the house where militants were hiding, they came under heavy gunfire from the militants.
"Firing exchanges are still going on in the area," the official added.
