Want my mother to do next film with me: Sooraj Pancholi

Dubai, March 20 (IANS): Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who made his acting debut with superstar Salman Khan production "Hero", says he wants to work with his mother and veteran actress Zarina Wahab for his next film.

The 25-year-old, who has been awarded with the Best Debut Actor (male) at the second edition at the Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA), has already shared screen space with his father Aditya Pancholi in his first film, which also starred debutante actress Athiya Shetty.

"I wanted her (Zarina Wahab) to do my next film with me. I have asked her if she (would work in my next)...she said that if she has time, she will see," said Sooraj, who was seen wearing a black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and a bow at the event's red carpet.

Sooraj was seen sharing screen space with actress Jacqueline Fernandez for a music video "GF BF", which garnered over 15 million views on Youtube. The actor said he was overwhelmed by the response and "hopes to do more songs".

"I hope I do a lot of songs because that's when I perform and get money," Sooraj quipped.

There were reports that the "Hero" star has been roped in for a film with T-Series.

Asked if he has signed on the dotted lines for T-series, Soraj said: "We are still talking about it...nothing is confirmed."

When do his fans see him onscreen next?

"Hopefully this year end," said the actor.
