Pyongyang launches short-range missiles into East Sea


Seoul, Mar 21 (IANS): North Korea on Monday fired several short-range missiles into the East Sea.

The missiles were launched from the northeastern city of Hamhung at 3.19 p.m., and flew some 200 km, Yonhap news agency quoted North Korea's joint chiefs of staff as saying.

"Our military is keeping close tabs on the situation and standing by with a heightened defence posture," it added.
