Oman, Oct 1: ‘Buntsotsava - 2007’ the 20th Gathering of Bunts of Oman will be held here on Friday 2 November 2007, stated a press release of organizing committee.  

This is a unique cultural event with diverse array of members participating in traditional and cultural activities. It is an event organized to involve Bunt members in all activities and give them an opportunity to mingle with people and facilitate cultural awareness informed the press release. 

Further the release stated that a cricket match is going to be held on  Friday October 19, followed by a sports meet on Friday October 26, as part of the celebrations. Other activities planned are singing, group dance (classical or cultural), mono-act, mimicry, fancy dress, drama, costumes etc.

Moreover to commemorate the occasion a souvenir magazine will be presented to the members and all community members are requested to contribute to the same by sending articles on heritage, culture and cuisine on or before Tuesday October 2, 2007, informed the press release.
