Mumbai: Rajaka Sangha celebrates Women's day

Mumbai, Mar 26: The Women's wing of Rajaka Sangha, here celebrated World Women's Day with diverse programmes at Majestic Club house, Kanjoor Marg on Sunday afternoon March 6.



Women's wing president Shubha Gujaran and past president Sumithra Gujaran lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion. Vice president Jyothi Salian, secretary Pravina Kunder, Rajaka Sangha
Mumbai joint secretary Sarojini Kunder, cultural section vice president Sumithra Palimar, local committee presidents Jayashree Kunder Dombivli, Vidya Pradeep Navi Mumbai, Nayana Kunder western and
Salini Salian Central were present on the dais.

In the annual felicitation programme, Leela B Salian Mulund, Sunanda S Salian Borivli, Vishala D Salian Bandra and Yashodha L Bangera Vadala were felicitated by local committee presidents, vice presidents and members by presenting shawls and mementos.

Chief guest Dr Geethanjali Ameen informed about the indications and precautions to be taken against cancer that is troubling many people these days. Women's wing president Shubha Gujaran, Sumithra Gujaran and Pramila Salian honored her by draping a shawl and presenting a memento.

Sumitha Salian, Vasanthi Salian, Rathna Bangera and Vinaya Salian conducted indoor sports and questions and answers session. Technical section and photography were handled by Sparsh Salian, Manish, Sai Kunder and Gauthami. Lalith, Sanjith and Srinidhi helped in light refreshments. Secretary Pravina Kunder thanked those who donated and were responsible for the success of the programme. The national anthem was sung at the end.
