Kashmir highway accident kills four


Jammu, March 27 (IANS): Four people were killed late on Saturday in Ramban, when a vehicle skidded of the road accident and plunged into a deep gorge along the Jammu-Srinagar highway, police said.

The accident occurred at Medhdar in Ramban district when the driver lost control of the vehicle on the 300-km highway and plunged into a deep gorge, police said.

"A dumper of the construction company was on way from Sumbhar to Kohli when it went out of the driver's control and plunged into a deep gorge at Meghdar, four people including the driver died and one person got injured," a police officer told IANS.
