Mangaluru: Resident of Yeyyady dies in accident near Honnavar

Mangaluru, Mar 29: Ganapati Bhat (51), a native of Ballur in Paivalike Bayaru, Kasargod district and resident of Yeyyady here lost his life in an accident which occurred on Saturday at Haldipur near Honnavar, Uttara Kannada district.

Bhat had gone to his daughter's home at Sirsi along with wife in his Maruti Omni van. When returning, a truck hit his van at Haldipur. Bhat, who was seriously injured in the accident, lost his life on the spot. His wife survived with minor injuries, it is gathered.
