Man tied to a train's window for drinking water without permission

Patna, Itarsi, Mar 29 (Agencies) : In a shocking case of extreme violence over a trivial issue, a man was tied to a train's window and beaten up by three men after he drank water from their bottle.

The incident occurred on March 25 when a youth named Sumit boarded Patna-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Express at Jabalpur at around 11 pm.

Sumit is employed in Mumbai and was on his way back to the city. Soon after the train began its onward journey, he reportedly drank two gulps of water from the bottle of the three accused youth.

His act infuriated them so much that they assaulted him. Not satisfied, they pulled the emergency stop chain to bring the train to a grinding halt and dragged Sumit out and tied him to a window.

Unaware of the incident, the train driver released the brakes and started the train again – with Sumit hanging outside the coach.

The train ran non-stop for four hours before it halted at Itarsi to the horror of those present on the platform.

The accused youth also jumped out of the train and started hitting Sumit with their belts. His cries of mercy not melting their hearts.

Fortunately, the assembled crowd intervened and saved Sumit.

The accused men are natives of Patna and were on their way to Mumbai to sit for a competitive examination. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has filed an FIR against them and is probing the case.

Cruel and brutal. People have lost the sense of humanity. Instead of offering water to those who are thirsty tying that to by stripping clothes and thrashing?! Is this humanity? These are intolerant gundas.

    Bihari character.
For drinking two gulps of water from their bottle he was subjected to such in human punishment! Cannot believe. Indian youth is going through terrible phase of intolerance and aggressiveness. This type of attitude and merciless behavior is too much to bear.
They should be punished at the first instance and also needs to be counseled from religious and humanitarian grounds. They may improve in future.

You mean the intellectuals who returned awards are fools?.
Sikh riots are not civil war but creating a another Sikh country with sick minded people. So don't compare this.
Don't compare blue star operation to any Sick People Riot.
Just compare inviting Pak Army and Intelligence to India to investigate the attack done by Pak itself. Then you will find the answer.

what logic are you trying to put in? all the intolerance in the past is not intolerance but something else? and intolerance if any is only under modi regime? have some logic man. and for the award wapsi gang, if you think they are worth the award, pl go ahead and stay with that assumption. I have read enough and know that if not for a favourite party in power, their books would have been in trash.
