Pre-poll surveys predict comfortable majority for Trinamool

Kolkata, March 30 (IANS) Opinion polls broadcast by two television channels have predicted a comfortable victory for the Trinamool Congress in the West Bengal assembly elections. Both the surveys forecast that the BJP may win only one seat in the 294-member assembly.

The ABP Ananda-AC Nielsen survey, conducted between March 10 and 21, claimed that the Trinamool would win 178 seats, with the Congress-Left Front alliance finishing with 110.

Five seats would go to other parties, according to the survey broadcast on ABP Ananda.

Another poll conducted by GFK-Mode and broadcast on Bengali news channel 24 Ghanta, gave 200 seats to the Trinamool, and 90 to the Congress-Left Front team.

Other parties could bag three seats.

The ABP Ananda-AC Nielsen survey, however, indicated a neck-and-neck race between the Trinamool and the Congress-Left Front.

While the incumbent Trinamool could win 45 percent of the mandate, 44 percent of the voters preferred the opposition alliance, 5 percent were with the BJP, and 6 percent could support others.

According to the GFK-Mode poll, the Trinamool could get 46 percent of the votes, the Congress-Left Front alliance 39 percent, and the BJP 6 percent. Nine percent of the votes could go the way of others.

The GFK-Mode survey, conducted after the purported sting operation of Narada News that showed several top Trinamool leaders allegedly accepting bribes, claimed that the Trinamool would lose 3 percent votes as a fallout of the footage.

..In WB, its like monarchy rule..criminals are on free run same like CPI(M) rule..there is no difference..BJP is no player in any coming 2-3 state elections..But it will be remarkable if they win ASSAM as predicted by opinion poll..BJP is atleast trying..but where is Congress?..its power hunger for central Govt lost its base in states..it needs regional parties support to get come back to power in central so they are going slow on regional parties which ruined its prospectus in state..if any party blames MODI, Congress leader SONIA/RAHUL is happy..all regional parties incl., AAP ate away Congress vote share but no strategy, for Congress leaders only MODI is target..moreover except childish Congress VP, no senior leaders visible..where are they?..where are the ex-minister!..

Duffers dont understand BJP's back door understanding with Mamta Di to keep communist & Congis out of power.
These dongis want to hide their depression about the fact that congress not able to make it despite alliance with the Maoists in WB now making noise that BJP is not winning any seats, where first o all BJP does not have much base. Modi already played safe in WB and TN by joining hands with TMC & AIADMK for getting support in Upper house.

By the by Dongi's & Maoists new Messiah Kanaiiya Kumar is not helping them get any votes in Maoists big bastion which is WB ???? If KK doesn't have his ALE in WB then where will he have ?

Don’t know why some people are celebrating at bjp losing… they lost the basic sense that losing is when you expect big.

Bjp agenda is to keep cong away as far as possible.
bjp wont be surprised if the score is 0-0-0-0 n WB, TN, KL and Py.
If score is 2-2-4-1- in these 4 states, they will be pleasantly shocked..
So, do some little analysis or just hang on pls..

while I am not here to support any party, I don't put all into one bucket. the one who does criticize a party it is not bad. But here you can see some elements whose job is only to take potshot on bjp even how irrlecant the matter is..

There will be a divine correction upon the BJP nationwide because the tears of the orphans and the poor have reached at the supreme court of heaven.

My very personal friend who was born in a high caste Hindu family was delegated as a lawyer in an underdeveloped place of India half a century back. He met an helpless (he was from my village but never met him) street Christian preacher, showed him compassion towards him while the lawyer was less than 25 years old, gave a room of his 4 room office for the preacher. One day the lawyer got very sick and was at the verge of death. The poor street preacher asked him whether he can pray for him. The lawyer said, anyway I am going to die, so pray. The Lord answered his humble prayer, the lawyer was healed he became a follower of JESUS, studied Theology in India and went abroad for further studies.

When I visited him in 2006, I was greatly surprised by the size the institution had to speak one day at the college. There I saw another charity work of having hundreds of unwanted children from the street, and the children were delivered by the police department as a safe place with food and moral instruction.

Totally unexpected trap now created by the BJP Government and the charity work to help the crying street children are now in trouble and they will be forced to dismantle the charity work.

These kinds of news will not come in the national news, but all over India, the BJP Government is doing this very dirty trick of injecting theocratic rules upon many independent NGOs.

The current Government in the name of " secular inclusivism" is systematically excluding Christians and pressing and imposing upon them through sanctions and regulations, to actively teach Hinduism and its practice as part of the Christian curriculum. How the Christian institution can agree with that? The Bhart Jungle party rule is going out of hand now so will be learning a lesson one after another.
