Warm Wednesday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Apr 6 (IANS): It was a warm Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.5 degrees celsius, four notches above the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast cloudy sky with light rain later during the day.

The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees celsius, the weather office said.

"It was a warm Wednesday morning, however, the sky later during the day is likely to turn cloudy. Light rainfall is also expected," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 percent.

The maximum temperature on Tuesday settled at 35.8 degrees celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees celsius, seven notches above the season's average, making it the hottest morning of the season.
