Udupi: Fish laden tempo hits pedestrian, topples into ditch

Udupi, Apr 6: A fish laden Tata Mobile tempo has hit a pedestrian walking beside NH 66 near Moolooru Sangha and fell on Tuesday April 5 morning.


The person injured in the accident is Narayana Poojary aged 65, a resident of Moolooru Melmane House.

Poojary was returning from his usual morning walk at about 6.30 am when he got hit by the tempo. The tempo tumbled and fell across a roadside ditch. The fish in it were found scattered all over the place. A police case is registered at Kaup Police station.
