Odd-Even: Women, cars carrying students in uniform exempted

New Delhi, April 6 (IANS): Women and cars carrying students in school uniform will be exempted during the second phase of the odd-even vehicular scheme starting April 15, Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai said on Wednesday.

He was addressing a press conference here.

The second phase of the odd-even scheme will again be implemented in the national capital for 15 days from April 15. It was first implemented from January 1 to 15 this year with an intention to curb pollution in the city.

The Delhi government has already announced that CNG vehicles would remain exempted from the restrictions during the second phase.
