BSP MP Narendra Kashyap, his wife, son arrested in Himanshi death case

New Delhi, Apr 7 (IBN) : Bahujan Samaj Party MP Narendra Kashyap, his wife and his son have been arrested in connection with the mysterious death of his daughter-in-law Himanshi Kashyap murder case. They have been arrested for harassing Himanshi for dowry. Himanshi's family alleges her in-laws were demanding a Toyota Fortuner SUV.

Ghaziabad City SP Salman Taj said an FIR has been registered in the case and further investigation are being carried out. He added that the FIR names six accused and they have been booked under Indian Penal Code Section 498A (Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and 304-B (dowry death). The case is a non-bailable offence.

They have been arrested for harassing Himanshi for dowry. She was found dead at her Ghaziabad residence on Wednesday.


Himanshi was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Ghaziabad on Wednesday. She died due to a single gun shot injury to her head.

Charges of dowry have been filed against the MP's family. The MP was also roughed up by the victim's family members. But he and his family members have denied the charges.

Narendra Kashyap's family has two weapons and ballistic report will confirm if the bullet from the gun or the pistol resulted in her death. It is yet to be confirmed if the MP was present at home when Himanshi died.

    India needs second liberation, from so called elected as rulers, our representatives,role models, our law makers.
    So many people are totally ignorant about many of them are criminals, hate mongers, nation looters.
    Yet people adore them paying from peoples taxes.
    They are true wolves in the coats of sheep, Deceivers, hypocrites. Open enemy is far better than hidden enemy.
    Sad, people are not able to distinguish them but vote for them.
    People with clear understanding have to undergo prolonged sufferings under their rule for ignorant vote them, adore them.

    Lust for money makes people to commit such crimes. They should be hanged if proven guilty of crime. Such vultures who want to enjoy with others money does not deserve to live.
