Mangaluru, Apr 12: A woman lost her life after having been hit by a vehicle at around 11 am on Monday April 11. Mamata (36), a resident of Bikarnakatte, was the unfortunate victim of this accident.
It is gathered that a Mahindra Xylo vehicle that was moving towards Nanthoor at high speed from the direction of Karnataka Polytechnic hit the woman, who was waiting by the roadside to cross to the other side. The car driver fled from the scene after the accident. A case was registered in traffic (east) police station here, and an investigation was launched.
