Mangalore, Oct 10: Sangeet Bharati Foundation, based in the city, will co-host ‘Musical Concert’ at Ravindra Kala Bhavan, University College campus here on Saturday October 13 at 5.30 pm, in association with Gururao Deshpande Sangeet Sabha, Bangalore, said Narendra Naik, vice-president, Sangeet Bharati Foundation at the press conference here on Wednesday October 10.

The chief guest for the programme will be Ananthakrishna, chairman, Karnataka Bank Ltd, he informed.

Elaborating on the events of that day, the vice-president added that the programme includes flute recital by Sameer L Rao, followed by vocal concert by Pandit Balachandra Nakod. The accompanying artistes are Satyavijaya Bhat and Raghavendra Nakod on tabla and Narendra L Nayak on harmonium. 

The entry will be free to all music lovers, he added.

Ustad Rafique Khan, president, Radha Krishna Rao Parody, secretary and Venkatesh Baliga, trustee, Sangeet Bharati Foundation, were present at the press conference.
