Cabinet observes two-minute silence for Kerala temple fire victims


New Delhi, Apr 13 (IANS): The union cabinet on Wednesday observed two-minutes' silence in memory of those killed in the fire tragedy in Kerala's Kollam district on Sunday.

"The union cabinet meeting today morning began with a two-minute silence in memory of all those who lost their lives in the fire tragedy at Puttingal Temple, Paravur, in Kollam district of Kerala on April 10, 2016," an official statement said.

The toll in the deadly fireworks show at the temple has risen to 112.
