Three drown as boat overturns in Madhya Pradesh


Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh), April 15 (IANS): Three people drowned when a boat carrying five people turned turtle in Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh's Narsinghpur district. Two swam to safety.

The incident occurred late Thursday night when some people of Kodia village were returning home after participating in a religious event on Sidh bank of the river, according to police control room. 

The deceased were traders.
