New Delhi, Apr 18 (IANS): It was a warm Monday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the season's average, the Met office said.
"Haze is likely to occur in the morning and the sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 42 percent, the official said.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 40.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, eight notches above the season's average.
