Udupi: Injured after bike hit divider, rider dies at hospital

Udupi, Apr 18: A motor bike rider, who had fallen to the road after his motor bike hit the road divider at K G Road near Uppoor, died on Sunday at a hsopital.
 
Abhiram Acharya (28), son of Sukumar Acharya, resident of Bijai New Road, Mangaluru was the unfortunate victim of this accident.
 
Acharya was coming towards the town from the direction of Kundapur in his motor bike, when he lost control over the vehicle when passing through K G Road. His vehicle then hit the road divider, after which Acharya fell down. He suffered severe injuries to his head, and he turned unconscious. 
 
He was admitted into a private hospital in the town for treatment, But he breathed his last on Sunday April 17. A report about this incident stands filed in Brahmavar police station.
