30 IAS officers transferred in UP


Lucknow, April 21 (IANS): The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday effected transfer of 30 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, a government spokesman said.

Among prominent officials who have been shifted from their present posting include Secretary-basic education Ashish Goel who has been now made commissioner, food safety.

Murli Manohar Lal has been transferred as divisional commissioner, Devipatan, Ajay Kumar Singh is the new secretary-basic education, Govind Raju N.S. has been made the new special secretary-higher education, and Sudhesh Ojha has been tasked with an important assignment as director, information and public relations department.
