Udupi, Oct 16: The 37th Annual convention and national seminar of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) will be organized by Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) on the following days’ viz., December 17, 18 and 19 as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Institute, informed S S Pabla, MIT Director and also informed about the topics to be discussed in the conference.
Speaking to reporters here, he informed that topics such as aggressive industry academia interaction, role of regulatory bodies in technical education, role of alumni in strengthening technical education, innovation and technology transfer, role of regulatory bodies in technical education, ethics in professional education, dynamic curriculum up gradation etc will be discussed at the said convention cum seminar.
Pabla further informed that ISTE is a national, professional, non profit making society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. This convention will mark the closing ceremony of the golden jubilee celebrations of MIT, he added.
