AAP announces new National Executive, includes 7 women

New Delhi, Apr 27 (PTI): The Aam Aadmi Party today announced its new National Executive (NE), the party's second-highest decision making body, with 19 new names which include seven women.

The 25-member restructured body also has several names from Punjab, which is going to polls in 2017, the party's next big focus in the electoral arena. Apart from them, five state conveners became ex-officio members of NE.

The members include party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai, Pankaj Gupta, Ashutosh and Kumar Vishwas.

The new entrants are Yamini Gomar, Rajendra Pal Gautam, Preeti Sharma Menon, Durgesh Pathak, Bhagwant Mann, Kanu Bhai Kalsaria, Harjot Bains, Baljinder Kaur, Raghav Chadha, Ashish Talwar, Atishi Marlena, Sadhu Singh, Dinesh Vaghela, Meera Sanyal, Bhawna Gaur, Rakhi Birla, Imran Hussain and Amanatullah Khan.

The NE has undergone a major change over the last one-year due to a spate of expulsions and resignations which began with the fallout of Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan with the party's top leadership.

Yadav and Bhushan were shown the door over allegations of anti-party activities.

    We in Indian Politics really really need a big change. At the moment AAP is the only hope, & we all must support this new party. We need to get rid of all Dynastic, hypocrite, Oldies, Corrupt & Criminals, who have swindled more than the British for the last 67 years. Most of our present Politicians r enjoying most Luxurious life on our cost, by increasing our property tax, Service tax etc. year after year.

    It's same like we are praising leader of south west from many years and all of sudden all of them turn to praise leader of north west.
    Why not you people stick to one party only. See BJP earlier had minimumv seats below 10. With one rata yatra it reached up above 200.
    I dont know where it reach it will conduct second rata yatra..having proclaim modiji as arjun.

    Last hope. AAP child of BJP to keep away congress strong from delhi/punjab.
    Owaissi is one more naughty child of sangh parivar.
    Owaissi Jr. keeping quiet folding his tail umpteen times.
    BJP is already laid down foundation everywhere..in schools colleges universities police army etc.etc.
