Karkala: One killed in bus-car accident near Bajagoli

Karkala, Apr 28: A mini bus and a car got involved with an accident at Pakkibettu, Baagoli in Mudaru village in the taluk on Wednesday April 27. A person lost his life in this accident.

Nishchit Gowda (26), who was riding the car, was killed in this accident. Nishchit, 26, was from Ujire. A woman and her child, who were travelling by the car, sustained serious injuries. There have been admitted into a hospital.

The car was coming from Ujire, whereas the mini bus was moving towards Bajagoli. Eyewitnesses said that over-speeding on the part of the car driver had caused the accident.
