Kanhaiya Kumar arrives in Patna

Patna, Apr 30 (IANS): JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar morning arrived in Patna on Saturday on a two-day visit during which he will address meetings, meet top state leaders and travel to his native village in Begusari district.

Hundreds of youths, mostly student's wing members of left parties, welcomed Kanhaiya Kumar when he arrived at Patna airport.

Kanhaiya, who was arrested on the charge of sedition in February in connection with an event on campus against hanging of parliament attack convict Afzal Guru during which anti-national slogans were allegedly raised, was released on bail in March.

Kanhaiya is scheduled to meet Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad and other leaders who had supported his campaign against fascist forces.

He is also likely to meet BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha.

Kanhaiya will address a meeting at the SK memorial hall in Patna on May 1 with 'Azadi' being the dominant theme of his discourses.

Kanhaiya is also likely to visit his village Bihat in Begusarai to meet his parents.

    i am just wondering when he will study & what he will study & when he will comple his PhD?

    ( remember, he is student of a university & while studying, as a student he was eligible for election & beacme president of students union...)

    va avasthe marayare... namm expert joklegu poora dina odundala yarujji,

    these "students"have time for "all these things" as mentioned in news !!

    what kind of student? what hi subject of PhD?

    i strongly feel that there should be time-limit for a student to complete the given work & pass & get out...

    for example, if you join for BSe, you should finish in 6 years from the date of joining & if you dont complete, you are unfit for that.

    if join for BDS, you should get your degree in maximum of 7 years, if not you are unfit to continue in the said course...

    you cant go on doing phd for 23 years & claim as student doing phd for last 23 years. there should be a time limit.. if you are not able to complete in scheduled time, find alternate suitable job based on your expertise...


    one more question i have, from where student gets money to travel in airways ( when he claims that he is from poor background & studying.. is he getting so much stipend for so many years to do phd?)
