Kundapur: Entrepreneur-cum-journalist commits suicide

Kundapur, May 2: Sharat Kumar Shetty (55), an entrepreneur from Kenchanur in the taluk, ended his life by hanging himself at the first floor of his house on the night of Saturday April 30.

Shetty was a full time journalist earlier. After setting up business at Kenchanur, he has turned into an amateur columnist. He is survived by parents, wife, and a daughter.

Reasons which forced Shetty to take this extreme step could not be immediately ascertained. A case stands filed in the police station here.
