Four killed in Bengal explosion


Kolkata, May 2 (IANS): At least four people were killed and four others seriously injured when crude bombs stored in a house exploded in West Bengal's Malda district, police said on Monday.

The incident happened late Sunday night in Baishnabnagar area of the district.

"Four people have been killed and four others have been injured in an explosion inside a house. According to preliminary reports, crude bombs were stored in the house which caused the explosion," said a police officer.

The injured have been admitted to the Malda Medical College and Hospital.
