Partly cloudy Thursday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, May 5 (IANS): It was a partly overcast Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 22.2 degree celsius, three notches below the season's average.

Met has forecast a cloudy day ahead with possibility of light rain in some parts of the city.

The maximum temperature during the day is likely to hover around 38 degree celsius.

"Delhi will get some respite from the soaring heat in the last couple of days. Rain is likely to occur in some parts of the city and the maximum temperature too is likely to hover around 38 degree celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m was recorded 60 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.9 degree celsius, a notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded 27.6 degree celsius, three notches above the season's average.
