Andhra Bank FY16 net down


Chennai, May 7 (IANS): Government-owned Andhra Bank on Saturday said it closed the 2015-16 financial year with a net profit of Rs.539.84 crore.

In a regulatory filing in BSE, Andhra Bank said it posted a net profit of Rs.539.84 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016, as against Rs.638.44 crore registered for the year ended March 31, 2015.

The bank earned a total income of Rs.19,199.16 crore in 2015-16, up from Rs.17,868.45 crore earned in 2014-15.

The bank board has recommended a dividend of 0.50 paise per share for the year 2015-16.
